From the financial fat-cats to the rest of us


In response to my most recent post about the US economy, reader J. B. sent me the link to this video.  It's from Mel Brooks' movie 'History Of The World, Part 1', and depicts the Roman Senate in session.  He says it adequately expresses the response of today's rich fat-cats of business and commerce to the concerns of 'ordinary people' about the economy.

CAUTION:  The f-word makes an appearance, so it's not safe for work - unless you turn down the volume of your speakers, that is.
