Shine on!

I found myself listening to this today, with real nostalgia.  I thought some of you might enjoy it too.

Aaahh . . . they made music in those days!  Today's youngsters can keep rap, and hip-hop, and techno, and all the rest.  I'll keep my memories, and haul them out now and again to relive them.

OH YEA!

"The Floyd" legend will live in my memory long after the Obama phoney "two-step shuffle" fades into oblivion.

Memories: Roosevelt Stadium, Jersey City, New Jersey.....circa Spring 1974/75? was an awesome event. And I was there along with about 30,000 others to get stoned in the sun.

Ah to be OLD, looking to the past and believing that the youth are forever damned. That everything new sucks and learning has ended.---- Where do you want that hole dug?--Ray

Ahhh indeed. Knebworth, 1990. Saw it when it was first broadcast. Of course I'd been hearing them since the early seventies, this was the first time I saw them perform, and the first time I realized what a totally brilliant guitarist David Gilmour is/was.
